Let's Make the Perfect Pavlova!

Enjoy our special offer on Burnbrae Farms' 12x1kg case of egg whites from July 7th to 28th, and create this delightful lavender pavlova with macerated strawberries and smoked honey. It's the ideal light and "berry-refreshing" dessert for a warm summer day!

Directions
Pre-heat oven to 250°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
In an electric mixing bowl combine Burnbrae Farms’ Egg Whites, lavender extract, vanilla, and salt.
Whisk until the egg whites form stiff peaks then gradually add 1 tbsp of sugar until all the sugar is dissolved and the meringue is shiny.
Spoon out a ¼ cup of the meringue mixture onto the baking tray using the bottom of the spoon to smooth out the edges and create a border.
Bake for 90 minutes until crisp and dry on the outside.
Meanwhile, combine honey and liquid smoke, set aside.
Macerate strawberries by adding them to a bowl and tossing gently in sugar and lemon juice. Allow to macerate for 30 minutes before serving.
When pavlovas are cool, top with sliced strawberries, smoked honey, and garnish with lavender flowers.
